Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Specialist with hands-on experience in motor/auto insurance claims processing. The role involves managing end-to-end claims lifecycle, coordinating with customers, surveyors, garages, and insurers to ensure timely and accurate claim settlement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Claims Processing & Handling
- Manage end-to-end motor insurance claims
- Register claims and verify policy coverage
- Review claim documents, estimate reports, and repair invoices
- Ensure accurate and timely claim adjudication and settlement
2. Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with customers, surveyors, garages, and insurance companies
- Follow up for pending documents and approvals
- Coordinate inspections and claim assessments
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain complete and accurate claim files
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and internal policies
- Identify and flag fraudulent or suspicious claims
4. Customer Support
- Provide updates to customers on claim status
- Resolve queries related to claim settlement and coverage
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and TAT adherence
5. Reporting & MIS
- Track claim status, TAT, and closure metrics
- Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports
- Highlight delays, escalations, and improvement areas
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of motor insurance claims
- Understanding of claims lifecycle (FNOL to settlement)
- Familiarity with insurance portals and claim management systems
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline (Insurance/Finance preferred)
- 2-5 years of experience in motor/auto insurance claims
- Experience with Auto/Motor Insurance companies, TPAs, or brokers preferred
Preferred Experience
- Experience in handling high-volume claims
- Exposure to cashless & reimbursement claims
- Knowledge of garage networks and survey processes
