Role OverviewThe Product Manager – Insurance will be responsible for managing the end-to-end insurance product portfolio across Health, Life, and General Insurance. The role requires a professional who can understand client requirements, solve insurance-related queries, develop go-to-market strategies, and generate leads through existing and new client relationships.
This role combines product management, advisory, and business development, making it ideal for someone who can both structure solutions and drive revenue growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesInsurance Product Management
- Manage and develop insurance solutions across Health, Life, and General Insurance products.
- Work with insurance partners to design competitive and customized insurance solutions for clients.
- Maintain strong knowledge of policy structures, coverage benefits, underwriting requirements, and claims processes.
Client Advisory & Query Resolution
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients for insurance-related queries.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable insurance products and coverage structures.
- Support clients through the entire lifecycle from quotation to policy issuance and servicing.
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Generate leads through existing clients, partners, referrals, and internal DealPlexus networks.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling insurance products to existing DealPlexus clients.
- Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, SMEs, and high-value individuals.
Go-To-Market Strategy
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for insurance products.
- Work closely with the marketing and leadership team to design campaigns, client outreach, and partnerships.
- Identify new segments and distribution channels to scale insurance business.
Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with insurance companies, underwriting teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the end-to-end process from lead generation to policy closure.
- Track performance metrics and maintain accurate documentation of deals and client interactions.
Key Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in insurance product management, advisory, or sales.
- Strong understanding of Health, Life, and General Insurance products.
- Experience in client relationship management and lead generation.
- Ability to structure insurance solutions for businesses and individuals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple clients and deals simultaneously.
