Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Sales Manager to lead our sales function, drive revenue growth, and build strong client relationships. This role is ideal for a result-oriented professional with a strong sales mindset, proven leadership ability, and in-depth knowledge of insurance products and market trends. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end sales operations, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring consistent achievement of business targets in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
The Insurance Sales Manager will play a critical role in expanding the organization’s market presence, strengthening customer engagement, and driving sustainable growth. This position demands a strategic thinker who can balance planning with execution while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities- Drive insurance sales by developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets
- Build, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction, retention, and repeat business
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring continuous motivation, performance improvement, and productivity enhancement
- Identify new market opportunities, generate leads, and expand the company’s customer base across target segments
- Develop and implement structured sales processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability
- Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance metrics, providing regular feedback, coaching, and corrective actions where required
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and compliance standards within all sales activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve customer experience across the sales lifecycle
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge
Required Qualifications & Skills- Minimum 5+ years of prior experience strictly in Insurance Sales (mandatory) with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing sales team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders
- Deep understanding of insurance products, sales techniques, and customer acquisition strategies
- Customer-focused approach with a solution-selling mindset and strong relationship-building capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- High level of adaptability and resilience to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
