Role Summary
The Insurance Executive will be responsible for managing insurance portfolios, coordinating with clients and insurers, and ensuring smooth policy processing and claims handling. The role requires strong industry knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service insurance policies across various segments (health, motor, corporate, etc.)
Coordinate with insurance companies for policy issuance, renewals, and endorsements
Handle end-to-end claims processing and follow-ups with insurers
Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide advisory support on suitable insurance products
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Prepare documentation, reports, and policy records accurately
Track renewals and ensure timely client communication
Assist in business development by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and new insurance products
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
2–3 years of experience in an insurance brokerage firm (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and claim procedures
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Customer-focused approach with problem-solving skills
Familiarity with IRDAI regulations is a plus
