Role Description This is a full-time Insurance Agent role based in Bilaspur, structured as a hybrid position with some flexibility for work from home. The Insurance Agent will identify potential clients, present suitable insurance products, and provide personalized consultations to help individuals and families meet their protection and investment needs. Daily responsibilities include prospecting, conducting client meetings, explaining policy features and benefits, processing applications, and maintaining regular follow-up for renewals and policy servicing. The role also involves collaborating with branch teams, staying updated on LIC products and regulatory guidelines, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions. The Insurance Agent is expected to deliver high-quality customer service while meeting sales and performance targets in an ethical and compliant manner.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively advise clients and support their protection and savings needs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to understand product structures, premiums, returns, and financial planning considerations.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to manage client relationships, address inquiries, and provide ongoing policy support.
- Candidates should have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and explain complex information clearly.
- Candidates should be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
- Relevant educational background in commerce, finance, business, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage.
- Candidates should be willing to work in a hybrid setup based in Bilaspur and comply with LIC and regulatory guidelines.
