Job Title: Insurance Advisory Intern

Today, the 1% Club leverages this trust-led distribution to offer regulated financial services and is actively building proprietary products that simplify investing, insurance, and everyday financial decision-making. Financial education remains the core pillar, while the platform continues to evolve into a comprehensive, full-stack financial ecosystem.
Role Overview
We are looking for
ambitious and driven individuals who want to gain hands-on exposure to the
Indian insurance and financial advisory ecosystem. This internship offers real-world experience across
insurance advisory, client interactions, and sales operations, providing a strong foundation for a career in insurance or financial services.
Key Responsibilities
Insurance Product Understanding
- Develop in-depth knowledge of health and life insurance products, including policy features, coverage structures, and benefits.
- Understand policy documentation, underwriting basics, claims processes, and renewals.
- Stay updated on insurance regulations and market offerings across major insurers.
Client Advisory Support
- Assist advisors in analyzing customer profiles and recommending suitable insurance products.
- Participate in client discussions to understand insurance requirements and financial protection needs.
- Support the team in preparing insurance comparisons and policy recommendations.
Lead Conversion & Relationship Management
- Engage with high-intent leads to explain policy features and benefits.
- Assist in guiding potential clients through the insurance purchase process.
- Help build long-term relationships with clients through renewals and advisory support.
CRM & Insurance Sales Operations
- Manage and update client interactions and lead status in CRM systems.
- Track the insurance sales pipeline and follow-up with prospects.
- Support the advisory team in policy issuance and documentation processes.
Learning Outcomes
- Understanding of the Indian health and life insurance market
- Practical knowledge of insurance advisory, policy selection, and client needs analysis
- Exposure to insurance sales cycles, underwriting considerations, and policy servicing
- Experience with CRM tools and advisory-led insurance distribution
Ideal Candidate
- Students or recent graduates (Finance, Business, Insurance, or Marketing preferred)
- Strong interest in insurance advisory, financial planning, or financial services
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
- Analytical mindset and willingness to learn complex insurance products
