Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Advisor role based in Gurugram. The Insurance Advisor will guide customers in evaluating their insurance needs, comparing products, and selecting suitable health, life, motor, and savings insurance plans. Responsibilities include explaining policy features in clear language, preparing personalized proposals, and ensuring customers understand coverage, premiums, and exclusions. The role involves managing the end-to-end advisory process, assisting with documentation, coordinating with insurers, and supporting clients during claim submission and follow-up. The Insurance Advisor will also maintain accurate records, build long-term relationships, and contribute to business growth through ethical, customer-centric consultation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Insurance products and principles, with an understanding of risk assessment and policy comparison.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills, including basic financial planning, premium calculation, and benefits evaluation.
- Candidates should possess Consulting abilities, such as needs analysis, solution-oriented advising, and client-focused decision support.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including empathy, responsiveness, and a commitment to transparent support throughout the policy lifecycle and claims process.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex information in simple terms and build trust with diverse customers.
- Relevant experience in insurance sales, financial advisory, or client-facing roles is preferred; familiarity with IRDAI regulations is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; additional certifications in insurance or finance are beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, meet targets ethically, use digital tools/CRMs, and collaborate with internal teams and insurer partners.
