Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Instrumentation Technician role based in Nanjangud. The Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimal performance. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation issues, performing preventive maintenance on equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The technician will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and maintain system efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Process Control and Instrumentation to install, configure, and maintain control systems and devices.
- Strong Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in Calibration to ensure the accuracy and reliability of instruments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in an industrial setting.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Diploma or certification in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in instrumentation maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills.
