Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer
Experience: Fresher to 2 Years
Location: Hyderabad, India
Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated Instrumentation Engineer to support ongoing Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), bridge monitoring, and infrastructure instrumentation projects. The candidate will assist in sensor installation, field inspections, monitoring activities, technical documentation, procurement coordination, and on-site execution for railway and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in installation and commissioning of sensors for SHM projects
- Support field inspections on railway bridges and infrastructure sites
- Help with sensor mounting, wiring, and panel assembly
- Assist in monitoring and validating sensor data
- Support preparation of technical reports, drawings, and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for instrumentation components
- Assist in troubleshooting instrumentation and communication systems
- Support preparation of BOQs, technical submittals, and project documentation
- Maintain records of installation progress, calibration, and monitoring activities
- Travel to project sites when required
Required Skills- Basic understanding of instrumentation and industrial sensors
- Knowledge of accelerometers, strain gauges, tiltmeters, GNSS, DAQ systems, or similar sensors is preferred
- Familiarity with electrical wiring and control panels
- Basic understanding of networking and communication systems
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical datasheets
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications- Diploma / B.Tech in:
- Electronics & Instrumentation
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication
- Related engineering fields
- Freshers can apply
- 0–2 years of experience preferred
- Willingness to travel for field and site work
- Interest in instrumentation, monitoring systems, and infrastructure technology
Preferred Candidate Profile- Hands-on and technically curious
- Organized and proactive
- Comfortable handling both field and documentation work
- Able to work independently and support multiple project activities simultaneously
