Role Description The Instructor will deliver high-quality classroom training in Mumbai for test preparation courses (such as IELTS, GRE, SAT, GMAT, TOEFL, and Duolingo) and language programs (English and French). Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, preparing teaching materials, conducting interactive sessions, assessing learner progress through assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback. The Instructor will also support soft skills development, guide learners on exam strategies, and collaborate with counselling staff to ensure a seamless experience for students pursuing overseas education. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular coordination with colleagues and participation in academic planning, workshops, and student information sessions.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional skills in standardized test preparation (e.g., IELTS, GRE, SAT, GMAT, TOEFL, Duolingo) and familiarity with exam formats and scoring.
- Proficiency in English language training; ability to teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills; knowledge of French language teaching is an advantage.
- Experience facilitating soft skills development, including communication, presentation, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Competence in lesson planning, classroom management, learner assessment, and use of teaching aids or digital tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English, Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications are preferred.
- Previous experience as an instructor or trainer in test prep, language institutes, or academic coaching centers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse learners.
- Strong ethical orientation, commitment to student success, and willingness to adhere to the organization’s student-centric values.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple batches, and coordinate with counselling and administrative teams.
