About Company
Solar Square is looking for a high-impact Instructional Designer to build scalable, competency-driven learning programs for frontline business teams. This role will own the complete learning lifecycle — from curriculum strategy and content creation to continuous optimization based on field performance and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate should be able to translate business requirements into engaging, practical, and performance-oriented learning experiences for sales and customer-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Strategy & Curriculum Design
- Design end-to-end learning journeys for frontline business roles including but not limited to:
- Solar Consultant
- LRM
- BTL Marketing – BDE
- Inside Sales – Solar Consultant
- Build structured onboarding, certification, refresher, and performance improvement programs.
- Develop competency-based training frameworks aligned with business KPIs, productivity metrics, and role expectations.
Content Development & Optimization
- Own end-to-end content creation, editing, structuring, and enhancement for business training programs.
- Develop high-impact learning content including:
- Product & process training modules
- SOP-based learning content
- Sales pitch & objection handling modules
- Training decks & facilitator guides
- Assessments, certifications & quizzes
- Role plays & case studies
- Call handling simulations
- Knowledge repositories & FAQs
- Simplify complex business workflows into practical, engaging, and easy-to-consume learning modules.
- Conduct periodic content audits and evaluation to ensure training material remains relevant, updated, and business-aligned.
- Correlate training content with on-ground sales experiences, customer interactions, audits, and field challenges to improve practical effectiveness and learner adoption.
Business Collaboration
- Partner with Program Managers, Business Heads, and Sales Leaders to identify capability gaps and define learning requirements.
- Work closely with Training Teams and Functional Stakeholders to ensure learning interventions drive measurable business impact.
- Support trainers with structured learning material, session plans, and assessment frameworks.
Training Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
- Track learning effectiveness through assessments, certification scores, audits, feedback, and business performance indicators.
- Analyze learner behavior, field observations, and performance trends to continuously improve content quality and learning outcomes.
- Recommend enhancements in training methodology, content structure, and delivery mechanisms based on business needs.
Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or Training Content Development.
- Experience in designing learning programs for sales, inside sales, BTL marketing, or operations teams preferred.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Excel, and content creation tools.
- Prior experience in startup or high-growth business environments will be an added advantage.
