We are seeking a creative, research-driven, and learner-focused Instructional Designer who can design impactful learning experiences and structured curriculum programs. The role involves translating subject matter expertise into engaging learning modules, lesson plans, digital content, and assessments that improve learner engagement and knowledge retention.
The ideal candidate should have experience designing project-based, experiential, and outcome-driven learning programs for schools, training programs, or digital learning platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Instructional Design & Learning Architecture- Design structured learning journeys, curriculum frameworks, and course pathways.
- Apply instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and Design Thinking.
- Define learning objectives, competency frameworks, and outcome-based learning models.
- Structure courses into modules, lessons, activities, and assessments.
2. Curriculum Development- Develop course content, lesson plans, facilitator guides, and learner materials.
- Create project-based and activity-based learning experiences.
- Build learning progression models suitable for different age groups or skill levels.
- Ensure curriculum aligns with academic standards and industry skills.
3. Digital Learning Design- Design e-learning modules, microlearning content, and blended learning programs.
- Create interactive learning assets such as videos, simulations, and gamified learning elements.
- Develop content compatible with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
4. Assessment & Evaluation- Design formative and summative assessments including quizzes, projects, and assignments.
- Develop rubrics and competency-based evaluation frameworks.
- Measure learning effectiveness and learner engagement metrics.
5. Collaboration with SMEs- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), trainers, and educators to convert domain expertise into learning modules.
- Translate complex technical or academic concepts into learner-friendly content.
6. Content Quality & Improvement- Review and update existing curriculum to improve learning effectiveness and engagement.
- Ensure content meets instructional quality standards and learning objectives.
- Conduct pilot testing and incorporate feedback from learners and educators.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Education Technology, Psychology, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning experience design.
Key Skills- Strong understanding of instructional design frameworks.
- Experience in curriculum structuring and learning experience design.
- Ability to develop engaging educational content and learning materials.
- Knowledge of learning psychology and pedagogy.
- Proficiency in content development tools and LMS platforms.
- Strong research, writing, and storytelling skills.
Preferred Skills- Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools.
- Experience designing STEM, robotics, coding, or innovation-based learning programs.
- Familiarity with gamification, experiential learning, and project-based learning.
- Exposure to K-12 education systems or skill development programs.
