We need someone who has independently built and deployed WalkMe solutions in a live enterprise environment — not just completed WalkMe certification or training — AND has strong hands-on instructional design experience in corporate eLearning. If you are strong in only one area, this role is not the right fit.
A̳B̳O̳U̳T̳ ̳T̳H̳E̳ ̳R̳O̳L̳E̳
You will design and build digital learning experiences across two platforms: structured eLearning modules via LMS, and in-application guidance built on WalkMe. You decide when a formal course is right, when a WalkMe flow does the job better, and when a job aid is enough. The goal is measurable improvement in user performance and system adoption.
W̳a̳l̳k̳M̳e̳ ̳D̳E̳V̳E̳L̳O̳P̳M̳E̳N̳T̳
- Build and publish Smart Walk-Thrus, SmartTips, Launchers, and ShoutOuts using WalkMe Builder
- Own selector configuration, rule logic, and troubleshooting on live deployments
- Apply UX principles — progressive disclosure, minimal interruption, user control
- Decide when WalkMe is the right channel versus formal training or a job aid
- Monitor completion rates and analytics; iterate based on data
e̳L̳E̳A̳R̳N̳I̳N̳G̳ ̳D̳E̳V̳E̳L̳O̳P̳M̳E̳N̳T̳
- Design and build interactive modules using Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, or equivalent
- Translate business requirements into learner-centred content with clear performance outcomes
- Write storyboards, scripts, and on-screen copy aligned to adult learning principles
- Ensure SCORM / xAPI compliance and LMS compatibility
- Maintain and update content as systems and processes evolve
C̳O̳L̳L̳A̳B̳O̳R̳A̳T̳I̳O̳N̳ ̳&̳ ̳Q̳U̳A̳L̳I̳T̳Y̳
- Partner with Learning, IT, and business SMEs to validate requirements and identify gaps
- Ensure outputs meet WCAG accessibility guidelines and brand standards
- Support UAT, rollout coordination, and post-launch updates
W̳H̳A̳T̳ ̳Y̳O̳U̳ ̳B̳R̳I̳N̳G̳
- 3–5 years in corporate / business eLearning (K-12 experience will not be considered)
- Minimum 2–3 WalkMe projects deployed in a live enterprise environment — sandbox/training does not count
- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and/or Rise; working knowledge of at least one LMS
- Practical knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and LMS publishing workflows
