Role Purpose
The Institutional Sales Relationship Manager will be responsible for acquiring, managing and deepening relationships with Institutional Clients (such as Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, Provident Funds, Mutual Funds & Corporate Treasuries) to drive AUM growth, expand share of wallet and increase market presence of various product offerings from Alpha Alternatives (AIFs, MLDs, PMSes, InvIT etc).
Key Responsibilities
• Identify & onboard new Institutional Clients
• Understand client’s investment objectives, risk appetite & asset allocation needs and
recommend appropriate investment solutions.
• Work closely with Product and Fund Management teams to prepare client-specific
presentations, investment proposals, pitch-books, and organise roadshows.
• Ensure high standards of client servicing and support: Onboarding, KYC/AML compliance,
documentation, account reviews etc.
• Market Intelligence & Analysis: Remain updated on the Fixed Income market dynamics, monitor
market trends, competitor offerings and regulatory changes (especially from SEBI, IRDAI,
PFRDA).
Qualifications & Experience
• MBA in Finance or a Chartered Accountant
• 6-10 years of experience in Institutional Sales, preferably with a large AMC or in Wholesale
Banking.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
