Role Overview:

The Role: Consultative Seller & Strategic Hunter


This is NOT a procurement-led sales role. We are looking for a high-performing BDM who has sold Digital Strategies, Brand Solutions, or Patient Engagement Services to Pharma companies. You will be dealing directly with the "Think Tanks" of Pharma (Marketing Heads, Strategy VPs, GPMs) to help them increase their market share using WONDRx.

  • โŒ Your primary experience is selling APIs, Raw Materials, Lab Equipment, Machinery, or Packaging.
  • โŒ You primarily deal with Procurement/Purchase Managers rather than Sales/Marketing Heads.
  • โŒ You are a "Meeting Arranger" who relies on seniors to close the deal.


โœ… The "Must-Have" Requirements


  • The "Rolodex" (Non-Negotiable): You must bring an active, warm network of 20+ Decision Makers (GPM, AGM, VP, Marketing Head level) in top Pharma companies. You should be able to pick up the phone and get a meeting in your first month.


  • Consultative Approach: You have a track record of selling "Concepts & Strategies" (e.g., Digital Marketing, CME, Patient Support Programs, Market Research) rather than physical commodities.


  • Decision Maker Access: Proven ability to bypass gatekeepers and negotiate deals directly with Business Unit Heads and Marketing Directors.


Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Hunting: Identify and penetrate top-tier Pharma accounts by pitching WonDRx as a strategic partner for Doctor Engagement and Patient Retention.


  • Concept Selling: Move away from "Rate Card" selling. Diagnose the Pharma Brandโ€™s pain points (e.g., "Low adherence in the Diabetes division") and prescribe WonDRx as the solution.


  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain deep relationships with C-Suite, VPs, General Managers (GMs), and Group Product Managers (GPMs) across therapy areas (Cardio, Diabetology, etc.).


  • Full Cycle Ownership: Own the entire deal lifecycle: Prospecting -> Needs Analysis -> Strategic Pitch -> Negotiation -> Contract Closure.


  • Market Intelligence: Act as the bridge between Pharma clients and our Product team, ensuring our tech evolves to meet industry needs.


Ideal Candidate Profile


  • Background: Experience working with MedTech, Medical Communication Agencies, CME Providers, Health Data Analytics, or Digital Marketing Agencies serving the Pharma industry.
  • Mindset: You are an entrepreneur at heart. You don't wait for leads; you create them.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the Pharma Marketing Lifecycle (Launch phases, mature brands, patient connect strategies).
