This apprenticeship program aligns with the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973. IPR Apprentice Vacancy Breakdown 2025` The Institute for Plasma Research has announced a total of 50 vacancies for apprentices. The distribution across different disciplines for Graduate and Technician roles is detailed below: Discipline Graduate (Degree) Vacancies Technician (Diploma) Vacancies Computer Engineering 05 02 Civil Engineering 05 02 Electrical Engineering 05 05 Electronics & Communication Engg. 05 02 Mechanical Engineering 05 05 Instrumentation & Control Engg. 02 02 General Stream (B.COM/B.A/B.B.A) 05 N/A Total 32 18 Eligibility Criteria for IPR Apprentice Roles Candidates must meet the specific educational qualifications and other criteria outlined below: Educational Qualification: Graduate Apprentices: Must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline (Computer, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control) or a Graduate degree (B.Com/B.A./B.B.A.) for the General Stream. Technician Apprentices: Must hold a Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline (Computer, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control). Year of Passing: Candidates must have passed their qualifying Degree/Diploma in or after 2023. Those who passed in 2022 or earlier are not eligible. Prior Training/Experience: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere are not eligible. Candidates with job experience are also generally not considered for apprenticeships under the Act. NATS Registration: Candidates must have a valid registration number on the NATS portal before applying.
