About PEHRAA
PEHRAA is a 24×7 sensor-based alarm monitoring platform built by Suraksha24 Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a DPIIT-recognized startup based in Ludhiana. We're building the professional monitoring layer that Indian homes, shops, and factories have never really had — zero-upfront IoT sensor installation, backed by a live monitoring center, with no cameras involved. We're currently rolling out across Ludhiana, with plans to expand across Punjab.
About the Role
We're hiring an Installation Technician to set up PEHRAA's sensor systems at customer homes, shops, and facilities. You'll be the face of PEHRAA on-site — installing hardware, configuring connectivity, and making sure every customer's system is working correctly from day one.
What You'll Do
- Install and configure door/window contacts, motion detectors, glass-break sensors, and smoke/gas detectors at customer sites
- Set up WiFi connectivity and configure automatic 4G backup for each installation
- Test every sensor and confirm proper communication with the monitoring platform before closing out a job
- Walk customers through how their system works and answer basic questions on-site
- Handle routine maintenance visits — battery replacement, sensor troubleshooting, connectivity fixes
- Maintain accurate installation and service records for each site visited
- Coordinate daily site schedules with the operations team
What You Need
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience installing CCTV systems, internet/networking setup, or computer hardware installation
- Minimum qualification: 10+2 (Higher Secondary)
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring and networking/WiFi setup
- Must own a two-wheeler — daily travel between customer sites across the city is a core part of this role
- Comfortable working independently at customer sites
- Good communication skills — you'll be explaining the system directly to customers
- Problem-solving mindset — every site is a little different
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with smart home devices, alarm systems, or IoT hardware
- Basic smartphone/app comfort for logging installations digitally
- ITI or diploma in Electrical/Electronics (not required, but a plus)
