Job Description:
The Desktop Support Engineer (L2) will provide installation, configuration, and technical support for Synersoft’s flagship solution BLACKbox—a comprehensive IT product integrating:
- Firewall
- File Server
- Mail Server
- Endpoint Security
- Storage & Backup
- Domain Controller
Support will be delivered through:
- Remote sessions (TeamViewer)
- On-site visits across Ahmedabad as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows & Linux operating systems
- Desktop & laptop assembly, hardware diagnostics, and basic repairs
- Network configuration and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN)
- Router, switch, and firewall configuration for client setups
- Support and maintenance for BLACKbox deployments
- Ensure timely resolution of client issues through remote or onsite support
- Documentation of support cases and escalation as needed
Candidate Profile:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of:
- Computer hardware assembly
- Windows OS installation & troubleshooting
- Linux fundamentals
- Network configuration (IP, DHCP, DNS)
- Basic routing & switching
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English fluency required)
- Must own a two-wheeler and be willing to travel within Ahmedabad
- Customer-oriented mindset with a problem-solving approach
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: 1–2 years (preferably CCNA certified)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma in Computer & Networking
- MCSE / MCSA
- B.E. (Computer / IT)
