About the role

At our Instagram Community Moderator role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and integrity of the Instagram platform by proactively monitoring and responding to user content, reports, and inquiries. You will work closely with our Trust and Safety team to enforce our community guidelines, identify and address harmful or inappropriate content, and provide a positive and engaging experience for all Instagram users. Key responsibilities include: - Reviewing and evaluating user-generated content to identify potential violations of our community guidelines - Responding to user reports and inquiries in a timely and empathetic manner - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement moderation strategies - Providing feedback and insights to help improve our content policies and moderation processes - Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging online safety trends and best practices To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of social media platforms, experience in customer service or community management, and a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive online environment are also essential.
