Role Description The Inspection Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position located at Hanspal Traders in Kapurthala. The individual in this role will perform routine inspections of tensile testing machines and related equipment to ensure they meet internal quality standards and client specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting mechanical and electrical checks, verifying test results, documenting inspection findings, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve issues. The Inspection Engineer will also support calibration activities, assist in developing inspection procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing and quality control processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection for industrial and material testing environments.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills, including understanding of mechanical components, assemblies, and material behavior under tensile loads.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills relevant to operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining computerized testing equipment.
- Candidates should possess Testing skills related to tensile strength measurement, calibration, data recording, and verification of test accuracy.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and testing standards; familiarity with industry quality norms is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a methodical approach to documentation and reporting.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production, design, and quality teams on-site.
