Inside Sales Specialist

Role Overview
We are looking for a driven, motivated, and result-oriented Inside Sales Specialist to lead revenue generation and market expansion in the assigned territory. This is a purely sales-focused role ideal for individuals with a strong target-driven mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for consultative selling and closing deals.
The role involves connecting with leads, educating customers about our unique fractional ownership model, managing end-to-end sales processes, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience from initial interaction to car deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Management
• Engage with inbound and outbound leads via calls, WhatsApp, and emails
• Conduct onboarding sales calls for new waitlist members and customers purchasing tickets for assigned cars
• Clearly explain the fractional ownership model and its benefits
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable car options
• Handle objections effectively and build trust for high-value purchase decisions
• Drive closures and consistently meet monthly sales targets
Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and potential leads
• Ensure high engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate lead data, pipeline tracking, and follow-ups using CRM tools
• Demonstrate strong follow-up discipline and ownership
Onboarding & Operations
• Manage customer verification, KYC, and document signing processes
• Send payment links and ensure successful transaction completion
• Coordinate with co-owners and invite them to dealerships
• Oversee the end-to-end journey from onboarding to car deployment
• Attend customers at the showroom during deployment
Revenue Growth & Cross-Selling
• Cross-sell cars based on customer requirements
• Identify upselling opportunities and maximize revenue per customer
Marketing & Events Support
• Assist in offline events to promote awareness of assigned cars
• Support managers in marketing and engagement activities
Collaboration & Miscellaneous
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
• Perform additional sales-related activities as required by the company
Must-Have Skills
• Strong communication skills (Hindi and English required)
• Excellent persuasion, negotiation, and closing abilities
• High ownership, accountability, and self-motivation
• Target-driven mindset with the ability to perform under pressure
• Strong follow-up discipline and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of sales processes and CRM tools
Performance Policy Clause: Candidates are expected to maintain a minimum of 70% performance each quarter (3 months). If performance falls below 70% in any quarter, the employee will be moved to a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) for review and improvement.
Good-to-Have Skills
• Experience in inside sales, telecalling, or business development
• Exposure to automobile, real estate, fintech, or high-ticket sales
• Understanding of shared economy or subscription-based business models
• Local market knowledge and networking capabilities
Success Metrics
• Lead-to-conversion ratio
• Monthly revenue and number of tickets sold
• Follow-up consistency and pipeline management efficiency
Ideal Candidate
• Candidates with at least 1 and up to 3 years of experience in sales-centric roles
• Background in B2C, B2B, field sales, or high-value sales is a plus
• Energetic, driven, and eager to learn
• Strong interest in sales, customer interaction, and closing deals
• Adaptable with a growth mindset in a fast-paced startup environment
