Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and target-driven Academic Counselor / Admissions Executive to join Miles Education. The role involves engaging with prospective students and working professionals, understanding their career aspirations, and guiding them toward the right upskilling and certification programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling outbound calls, nurturing leads, counseling candidates on course offerings, and converting inquiries into enrollments through effective communication and relationship management. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to achieve weekly and monthly enrollment targets in a fast-paced edtech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Make 100+ outbound calls daily to prospective students and working professionals to generate and qualify leads.
● Counsel candidates on various professional certification and upskilling programs offered by Miles Education.
● Understand learners’ career aspirations and recommend the most suitable course options based on their goals.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective learners through consistent follow-ups via calls, WhatsApp, and emails.
● Convert inquiries into successful enrollments by effectively explaining program features, career outcomes, and value propositions.
● Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to enrollment closure.
● Maintain accurate and updated records of interactions, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM system. ● Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve lead quality, outreach strategies, and conversion rates.
● Achieve weekly and monthly enrollment targets while maintaining high-quality candidate engagement. ● Stay updated on course offerings, industry trends, and competitor programs to provide accurate guidance to candidates.
● Ensure a positive counseling and onboarding experience for all prospective students and professionals. ● Handle objections professionally and provide consultative solutions to help candidates make informed decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:
● Fluent in English language; bilingual a plus
● Patient, cool-tempered and ability to handle rejections, stress
● Good Listening skills, excellent telephone etiquette
● Ability to follow scripts without sounding mechanical
● Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
● Working knowledge of relevant computer software
● Ability to learn and high sense of hunger to achieve and grow
● Punctual, Good time-management skills
● Carry a positive attitude with a high energy level
