(A)JOB SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Specialist will play a key role in driving revenue growth by generating qualified leads, nurturing prospects, and supporting the sales cycle for Lepton Software’s technology and geospatial solutions. The role involves active engagement with prospects, understanding their business challenges, and positioning Google’s mapping and cloud offerings in alignment with customer needs. This role requires a mix of consultative selling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with clients across multiple industries and regions.
(B) JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY
- Identify and generate new leads/ business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and inbound lead follow-up.
- Qualify leads based on budget, authority, business needs, and timeline (BANT).
- Engage with potential customers to understand their challenges and position Lepton’s solutions effectively.
- Maintain active communication with prospects and build relationships until opportunities are converted or closed.
- Schedule product demos and coordinate meetings between prospects and the field sales/pre-sales teams.
- Manage and update all activities and leads in reports.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to run targeted campaigns and follow up on marketing-generated leads.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation, pipeline creation, and revenue contribution targets.
- Prepare and share sales performance reports and insights with the management team.
- Support renewals, cross-sell, and upsell initiatives within existing customer accounts.
(C) QUALIFICATION & SKILLSET
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation—preferably in IT / SaaS / technology domain.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the software sales cycle and CRM usage.
- Proven ability to handle lead qualification and pipeline management through CRM tools.
- Ability to handle multiple prospects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented approach.
