The Opportunity
We’re looking for a hungry, resourceful Inside Sales Associate to help expand Kazam’s charging footprint in the Western and Northern region. This is a ground-level role where you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers—property owners, small businesses, fleet managers, and everyday EV users—converting interest into installations and building the relationships that fuel long-term growth. Key Responsibilities
1. Outbound Prospecting & Lead Qualification
• Proactively source new prospects through cold calls, emails, WhatsApp outreach, and local networking—don’t wait for leads to come to you.
• Qualify inbound enquiries from the Kazam app, website, and marketing campaigns to separate high-intent buyers from early-stage interest.
• Maintain a healthy, well-organised pipeline that you can speak to at any point in the week.
2. Sales Cycle Ownership
• Run the inside sales cycle end-to-end: first conversation, needs assessment, product walk-through, proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Deliver compelling virtual and in-person product demonstrations that link Kazam’s solutions to specific customer pain points.
• Hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets; treat every number as a personal commitment, not a team average.
3. Relationship Building & Retention
• Develop trust-based relationships with property owners, housing society committees, fleet operators, and local businesses.
• Stay close to customers post-sale to ensure smooth onboarding, gather feedback, and identify upsell or referral opportunities.
• Act as the customer’s internal advocate—flag issues early, loop in the right teams, and follow through until resolution.
4. CRM Discipline & Reporting
• Log every interaction, update deal stages, and keep contact records current—your CRM should tell your story
• Track personal KPIs (calls made, demos booked, conversion rates) and bring data-backed observations to weekly reviews.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Partner with marketing to refine local campaigns, share what’s resonating on calls, and co-create collateral tha converts.
• Coordinate with operations and installation teams to ensure a seamless handoff from signed deal to live charger.
What You Bring
• 2–3 years of experience in inside sales, tele-sales, or a client-facing commercial role—ideally in a tech product, SaaS, consumer app, or infrastructure company.
• A natural communicator who can switch between a housing society uncle and a fleet CTO without missing a beat.
• Genuine curiosity about customer problems; you diagnose before you prescribe.
• Comfort with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar) and a habit of keeping data clean.
• Self-starter energy: you don’t need daily task lists to stay productive; you create your own momentum.
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi
• Bonus: Prior exposure to EV, automotive, energy, real estate, or any sector that requires customer education and behaviour change.
