About the Opportunity
Edumilestones is looking for high-performing, commercially driven Inside Sales Managers with proven expertise in B2B sales, consultative selling, channel partner acquisition, and revenue generation.
This is an opportunity for ambitious sales professionals who understand business economics, identify customer pain points, communicate compelling value propositions, negotiate effectively, and independently close business opportunities.
You will drive sales of our Career Counselling Technology, EdTech Business Solutions, Psychometric Assessment Platforms, and University Admission Counselling Programs to entrepreneurs, education consultants, career counsellors, and institutional partners.
Important: This is a revenue-generating individual contributor position, NOT a team-management, customer-support, or purely counselling role.
Key Responsibilities
1. B2B Sales & Revenue Generation
- Own the complete sales cycle, from lead qualification and discovery to product demonstrations, objection handling, negotiation, and closure.
- Sell EdTech and CareerTech business solutions using a consultative, ROI-driven sales approach.
- Consistently achieve individual monthly revenue and acquisition targets.
- Convert qualified inbound leads and outbound prospects into paying business partners.
2. Channel Partner Acquisition
- Acquire entrepreneurs, education consultants, counselling professionals, and institutions as B2B channel partners.
- Understand prospective partners' business objectives and demonstrate commercial opportunities.
- Develop a qualified pipeline and manage prospects through structured follow-ups.
- Convert high-intent leads into long-term, revenue-generating partnerships.
3. Consultative & Solution Selling
- Conduct persuasive online product demonstrations and commercial presentations.
- Explain product value, business models, investment requirements, and potential ROI.
- Engage with business owners, entrepreneurs, founders, and key decision-makers.
- Handle pricing objections, negotiate confidently, and close deals without relying on heavy discounting.
4. Sales Pipeline & Account Management
- Maintain CRM hygiene, accurate forecasts, and disciplined follow-up processes.
- Monitor sales funnel conversions and continuously improve closure rates.
- Build relationships with acquired partners to identify retention, upselling, and expansion opportunities.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3–8 years of experience in inside sales, B2B sales, solution selling, or business development.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and independently closing deals.
- Hands-on experience managing the complete sales cycle, including discovery, demonstrations, negotiations, and closures.
- Strong business communication, commercial understanding, objection handling, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to engage entrepreneurs, business owners, and other decision-makers.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing measurable sales pipelines.
- Willingness to work full-time from our Koramangala, Bengaluru office.
Strongly Preferred Candidate Profiles
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- B2B EdTech / CareerTech: Selling educational business solutions, career counselling platforms, assessment products, or institutional education services.
- SaaS / Technology Solutions: Selling software subscriptions, technology platforms, CRM, HRTech, MarTech, or other digital business solutions.
- Channel / Franchise / Partner Acquisition: Onboarding revenue-generating business partners, franchisees, resellers, or entrepreneurs through commercial sales.
- High-Ticket Consultative Sales: Independently closing business solutions involving substantial customer investment, complex objections, and decision-maker engagement.
- B2B Education Services: Selling solutions to education consultants, training organisations, institutions, schools, or business owners.
Additional advantage: Experience selling business opportunities, demonstrating investment value, handling ROI-related objections, and converting leads into paying partners.
The Ideal Candidate
We are particularly interested in professionals who:
- Are hunters and closers, not just lead coordinators or relationship managers.
- Can demonstrate actual revenue achievements, deal sizes, conversion rates, and target attainment.
- Possess strong commercial acumen and can explain how a product creates business value.
- Can independently conduct persuasive product demonstrations and close business deals.
- Are self-driven, resilient, accountable, and comfortable working in a performance-oriented sales environment.
- Want to build a long-term career in B2B technology and solution sales.
