WRO India is the national chapter of the World Robot Olympiad, one of the world’s largest
robotics and STEM competitions for young innovators. Organized by India STEM Foundation,
WRO India provides students with hands-on opportunities to design, build, and program robots
to solve real-world challenges. The competition promotes creativity, problem-solving,
teamwork, and future-ready skills in coding, robotics, and AI. Through regional rounds, nationals,
and international representation. It also builds a strong ecosystem through training,
partnerships, and initiatives like WRO Hotspots and outreach programs.
Role Overview: The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth and engagement
across two key market segments:
1. Schools Segment – Building strong relationships with existing schools, onboarding new
schools, increasing participation, and driving team registrations throughout the WRO
season.
2. University/College/Institute Segment – Expanding partnerships with universities,
colleges, innovation hubs, robotics institutes, and technical institutions to strengthen
The WRO ecosystem and increase participation in WRO initiatives and competitions.
The role will focus on relationship management, business development, partner engagement.
and achieving registration growth targets for the entire WRO season across India.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive outreach and relationship-building activities with schools, universities, colleges,
institutes, STEM academies, and robotics centers across India.
• Strengthen engagement with existing school partners and identify opportunities for
repeat participation and long-term collaboration.
• Identify and onboard new schools, colleges, and universities to expand the WRO
ecosystem and increase regional outreach.
• Achieve team registration growth targets for the entire WRO season across both school
and higher education segments.
• Coordinate with school leadership, principals, STEM coordinators, university faculty,
innovation cells, and technical departments for participation and partnerships.
• Develop engagement plans and follow-up strategies to improve partner retention and
participation rates.
• Promote WRO competitions, bootcamps, webinars, workshops, hotspot initiatives, and
outreach programs among educational institutions.
Work closely with the marketing, operations, and academic teams to support seasonal
campaigns and maximize registrations.
• Maintain strong institutional relationships to ensure continuous engagement throughout
the WRO season.
• Monitor registration trends, participation data, and regional growth opportunities to
support strategic expansion.
• Prepare reports, sales dashboards, and performance insights for leadership.
• Manage WRO-registered teams throughout the season.
• Develop, manage and lead a team of Inside sales executives to achieve the organizational
goals and targets.
