Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Inside Sales Manager to build and scale our qualified lead generation engine. The role will focus on training and leading a high performing inside sales team to drive consistent pipeline creation through structured outbound prospecting and effective lead qualification. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of achieving qualified lead generation targets and building predictable sales pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Qualified Lead Generation
Own and drive qualified lead generation targets for the inside sales team.
Develop structured outbound prospecting campaigns including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement.
Ensure leads are properly qualified before passing them to the sales team.
2. Training & Capability Development
Conduct regular product, industry, and sales process training.
Coach the team on prospecting techniques, objection handling, qualification frameworks, and communication skills.
Ensure the team is well-trained on lead qualification methodologies, and outreach strategies.
3. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing
Work closely with the field sales team to ensure smooth lead handover and opportunity progression.
Partner with marketing to align campaigns with target industries and personas.
Provide feedback on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and market response.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of monthly and quarterly qualified lead generation targets
Improvement in lead-to-opportunity conversion rates
Team productivity and performance metrics
Pipeline contribution to overall sales targets
Required Skills & Experience
7–12 years of experience in inside sales / demand generation / sales development
3+ years of experience in leading inside sales teams
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in B2B technology / enterprise solutions sales
Strong understanding of sales pipeline management
