Role overview
We are looking for a Cruise Counsellor who goes beyond standard query management and brings strong commercial acumen. This role will focus on creating value through packages, driving ancillary sales, and supporting partnerships, while managing travel agent relationships in the B2B ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
B2B Query Management & Conversions:
- Handle queries from travel agents via calls, emails, and platforms
- Drive conversions through effective communication and solution-oriented selling
Package Creation & Customisation
- Design and promote cruise packages by bundling flights, hotels, transfers, and experiences
- Work closely with agents to create customised itineraries for clients
Ancillary Sales
- Actively upsell add-ons such as dining packages, excursions, insurance, and upgrades
- Identify opportunities to maximise revenue per booking
Partnerships & Collaboration
- Support development and execution of partnerships (hotels, DMCs, airlines, etc.)
- Work cross-functionally to build and promote bundled offerings
Agent Engagement
- Build strong relationships with travel agents to drive repeat business
- Educate agents on product offerings, packages, and selling strategies
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in travel, hospitality, or related industry
- Experience in selling packages / holidays (not just standalone products)
- Exposure to ancillary selling or upselling
- Strong commercial mindset- ability to identify revenue opportunities
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
