Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Inside Sales Counselor. The role is focused on counseling prospective learners, understanding their career goals, explaining suitable programs, and converting serious inquiries into admissions.
The counselor will speak with learners over calls, WhatsApp, and online meetings, explain course outcomes, fees, batches, and learning structure, follow up with interested candidates, and help them make the right enrollment decision.
This is an individual contributor role with clear admission and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective learners and working professionals about suitable AI programs
- Explain course structure, projects, outcomes, fees, and enrollment process clearly
- Handle inbound inquiries and follow up with interested candidates
- Convert serious prospects into paid admissions
- Maintain lead and follow-up records properly in CRM or tracking sheets
- Coordinate with the internal team for batch, fee, and admission-related updates
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets
Qualifications
- Prior experience in education counseling, inside sales, admission counseling, or edtech sales
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi
- Ability to handle calls confidently and explain programs clearly
- Sales-oriented mindset with strong follow-up discipline
- Comfortable working remotely as an individual contributor
- Target-driven and serious about revenue ownership
- Experience selling professional courses or tech programs is preferred
- Freshers are not preferred for this role
