Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Inside Sales Engineer role based in Coimbatore. The Inside Sales Engineer will handle incoming inquiries, prepare technical and commercial quotations, and support the external sales team with product selection and sizing for industrial valve applications. Responsibilities include reviewing customer specifications, coordinating with engineering and production on feasibility and pricing, and following up with customers to convert quotes into orders. The role involves providing technical support to customers, resolving product-related questions, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM or sales tracking tools. The Inside Sales Engineer will collaborate closely with operations and logistics to ensure timely order execution and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Inside Sales and Sales, with experience managing inquiries, follow-ups, and order conversion.
- Strong Sales Engineering and Quotations skills, including interpreting technical specifications and preparing accurate commercial offers.
- Ability to provide Technical Support, addressing product selection, application suitability, and basic troubleshooting for industrial valves or related equipment.
- Relevant technical background, preferably a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with industrial valves, flow control products, or process industry equipment is highly preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with standard office and CRM software.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore and collaborate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
