# Job Description – Inside Sales Cum Purchase Executive

## Position Summary
The Inside Sales Cum Purchase Executive will be responsible for handling inside sales activities, preparing quotations, coordinating with customers and suppliers, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely procurement of materials required for panel manufacturing and automation projects. The role requires strong coordination between sales, purchase, stores, and project teams.

## Key Responsibilities
### A. Inside Sales Activities
1. Handle customer inquiries received through email, phone, and online platforms.
2. Prepare techno-commercial quotations based on customer requirements.
3. Follow up with customers for quotation approvals and purchase orders.
4. Coordinate with the estimation and engineering team for technical inputs.
5. Maintain customer databases and enquiry registers.
6. Generate sales reports and order status reports.
7. Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules and documentation.
8. Support the sales team in achieving order booking targets.
### B. Purchase Activities
1. Float RFQs to vendors and obtain competitive quotations.
2. Compare vendor offers and prepare comparative statements.
3. Process purchase orders after obtaining approvals.
4. Follow up with suppliers for order acknowledgements and delivery schedules.
5. Coordinate with stores and production teams for material requirements.
6. Ensure timely procurement of electrical and automation components.
7. Develop and maintain vendor databases.
8. Monitor material shortages and expedite critical items.
9. Coordinate with accounts for vendor payment status and reconciliation.
### C. Coordination & Documentation
1. Maintain purchase records, vendor quotations, and purchase orders.
2. Update ERP/Excel-based procurement and sales records.
3. Coordinate with stores regarding inward materials and stock availability.
4. Maintain proper filing of sales and purchase documents.
5. Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures.

## Required Qualifications
* Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
* Graduate with relevant experience may also be considered.

## Experience
* 3 to 7 years of experience in Inside Sales and Purchase activities.
* Preference for candidates from:
* Electrical Panel Manufacturing Industry
* Industrial Automation Industry
* Electrical Trading Industry

## Technical Skills
* Knowledge of LV Switchgear and Control Components.
* Familiarity with Siemens, Schneider, ABB, L&T, Rittal, and similar products.
* Ability to prepare quotations and purchase comparisons.
* ERP and MS Excel proficiency.
* Knowledge of commercial terms, GST, and procurement processes.

**Preferred Industry:** Electrical Control Panels, MCC/PCC Panels, Automation Panels, VFD Panels, PLC Systems, and Industrial Automation Solutions.
