Role Description The Inside Sales and Operations Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales inquiries, qualifying leads, preparing quotations, and supporting the conversion of prospects into long-term customers. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with operations and logistics teams on shipment execution, monitoring booking status, ensuring documentation accuracy, and maintaining updated records in internal systems. The role involves providing proactive customer service, tracking shipments, resolving issues, and communicating timelines and costs clearly to clients. The executive will collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to support smooth operations, contribute to revenue growth, and uphold service standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales and Sales Operations skills to manage leads, prepare quotes, support account growth, and coordinate with logistics teams.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain professional relationships.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret shipment data, assess pricing and margins, identify operational issues, and support process improvements.
- Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in the Mohali district, with proficiency in MS Office and CRM or operations software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
