Job Description

The Faculty Administration and Support department at INSEAD is responsible for managing academic operations and supporting faculty members by facilitating course planning and organizing teaching resources. It plays a key role in promoting academic excellence by supporting research initiatives and the professional development of faculty members.

INSEAD is seeking a Teaching Load and Data Analyst to join our Faculty Administration and Support department. This is a full-time, temporary contract position based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. A hybrid working model is in place – 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.

About The Job

The position is about tracking, recording and analysing data and metrics relating to resident and non-resident faculty, to provide statistical reports, analysis and insights for processes and policies in the department. The metrics include gender, career progression, teaching data and evaluations. The position holder will also lead/assist on HR related projects.

Your role within the team

  • Design and produce data reports for the Dean of Faculty and the Global Executive Director of Faculty
  • Administration & Support to provide insights into the key processes and policies in the department
  • Provide faculty-related statistics in the most appropriate format for other departments and external organisations
  • Play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of the Faculty Information system to ensure that accurate data is stored and tracked in the system
  • Communicate with faculty, Degree Programmes, Executive Education, PHD Department, Area Managers to maintain accurate individual teaching and evaluation records, to provide accurate reports for faculty evaluation/review and to allow for accurate faculty payment of overload
  • Assist/lead on HR related projects and administrative

The ideal candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related subject
  • A minimum of 5 years experience
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Good level of English (written and spoken) required
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines
