Internship - Laboratory Sciences

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented laboratory intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory setting, focusing on bioanalytical techniques, and basic drug metabolism methodologies.

Job Description

• Follow SOPs and other applicable laboratory or company procedures
• Maintain confidential information
• Use computer to compile and maintain data for records via Excel or alternative software
• Participate in Laboratory Safety and Cleanliness
• Display versatility and accuracy performing laboratory operations
• Prepare solutions for use in analysis
• Perform routine sample analysis and incubations per departmental best practices
• Interact with the community and employees
• Support and participate in other company initiatives as directed by management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Completion of minimum of 2 years towards a degree Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related Pharmaceutical Sciences program with in tandem direct laboratory experience
• Ability to maintain a high level of quality, displays an eye for detail and the ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience.  The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
