Schedule:
This is a part-time position working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Candidates must be available to consistently work these scheduled days.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care and hospital operations. Responsibilities include:

Providing attentive care for boarding animals
Maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment (cleaning, laundry, and general upkeep)
Safely handling and restraining patients
Administering medications and filling prescriptions as directed
Assisting veterinary technicians and doctors with treatments and procedures
Supporting special projects and daily hospital needs with professionalism and positivity

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

High school diploma or GED (required)
Minimum 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine (preferred)
Friendly, professional, and effective communication skills with clients and team members
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (including wiggly patients!)
Comfort working in a veterinary environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases
