Carolina Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE) is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) to support our Specialty Services team in Hickory, NC.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role designed for professionals who excel in veterinary reception, client engagement, and service excellence within fast-paced medical environments. Our Veterinary Receptionists/CSRs are essential to the patient experience—guiding clients from initial contact through discharge and follow-up with accuracy, empathy, and professionalism.
As a 24-hour specialty and emergency hospital, CASE provides Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency & Critical Care services. This role requires individuals who are confident in advanced client communication, scheduling complexity, and multi-department coordination.
This is not an entry-level Veterinary Receptionist role. Candidates must demonstrate advanced communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
Required:
- 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, Veterinary CSR, or medical front desk professional
- Experience in high-volume or emergency environments
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on empathy and clarity
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
Highly Preferred:
- Direct experience in veterinary emergency or specialty hospitals
- Confidence handling difficult conversations and urgent scenarios
