About the role

Job Description:- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team at Innovatily. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients and our development teams, ensuring the successful translation of client requirements into actionable stories and artifacts that align with our agile development process.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with customer-side project owners and stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and priorities.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document user stories, use cases, functional and non-functional requirements, process flows, and other artifacts to effectively communicate client needs to development teams.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of business needs and objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to prioritize and refine requirements and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on agile methodologies, advocating for best practices and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Collaborate with project managers and product owners to define project scope, establish project milestones, and track progress against deliverables.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery or stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, clarifying requirements and addressing any ambiguities or misunderstandings.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis and agile development methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience (4- 5 years) working as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and experience working in agile development teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and requirements gathering sessions with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data modeling, and requirements elicitation.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, such as Jira, Trello, or Asana, and proficiency in using collaboration tools, such as Confluence or Microsoft Teams.
  • Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) and/or agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
