JOB SUMMARY
The Press Room Helper assists the Press Operator in the efficient operation and maintenance of printing presses, ensuring the timely production of high-quality printed materials. This role involves a variety of tasks, from preparing materials and assisting with press setup to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities and Activities:
- Loads and unloads paper rolls or stacks onto the press, ensuring proper alignment and tension.
- Assists the Press Operator in preparing the press for production, including cleaning, changing plates, and adjusting settings.
- Monitors and adjusts ink and water levels during the printing process to maintain consistent print quality.
- Inspects printed materials for defects or inconsistencies, notifying the Press Operator of any issues.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area, including cleaning the press and surrounding areas. Assists in troubleshooting minor press issues and performing basic maintenance tasks.

- Communicates effectively with the Press Operator and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of print jobs.
