Hiring: Senior Injection Mold Designer | Coimbatore
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Injection Mold Designer to join our engineering team in Coimbatore. If you have a passion for precision engineering and a proven track record in complex mold development, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design process of high-quality injection molds. You will collaborate closely with the manufacturing and tool room teams to ensure designs are optimized for both performance and longevity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D mold designs and 2D manufacturing drawings for multi-cavity, hot runner, and high-precision molds.
- Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and Mold Flow analysis to identify and resolve potential issues early.
- Manage core/cavity extraction, slider mechanisms, and cooling system layouts.
- Collaborate with the tool room to support the fabrication and trial phases.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 6–7 years of core experience in Injection Mold Design.
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Creo (Pro/E) is mandatory.
- No of Openings :4
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of mold bases, metallurgy, gate positioning, and plastic material behavior.
- Location: Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore.
- Education: BE/Diploma in Mechanical or Tool & Die Engineering (CIPET background is a plus).
