Job Summary: Infravue Technologies is seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to join our on-site team in Dubai. This full-time position involves supporting daily IT operations to ensure seamless functionality across our systems and users. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: As an IT Support Engineer, your role will involve providing both first and second-level technical assistance to internal users. You will handle troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity. Efficient problem-solving and a proactive approach are crucial for maintaining uninterrupted business operations. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: You will serve as the first point of contact for technical support issues, ranging from minor software bugs to complex hardware failures. You will be expected to analyze the problem, determine the root cause, and implement a solution—escalating to specialized vendors when required. Your responsibility will also include monitoring system health and maintaining uptime. System Administration & Monitoring: Your day-to-day tasks will also include monitoring backups, managing security updates, patching systems, and ensuring that all IT assets are compliant and up to date. Familiarity with systems administration tools and an understanding of IT security principles will be key to succeeding in this role. End-User Support: You will work closely with staff to provide timely support, ensuring their workstations and IT services run smoothly. Whether it's configuring a new device or resolving recurring network issues, your assistance will be essential to minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity for all departments. Vendor & Third-Party Coordination: Complex issues may require engaging with external service providers. In these situations, you'll coordinate with vendors to resolve warranty claims, request technical escalations, or procure IT equipment. You must be organized and detail-oriented in documenting such interactions.
