About the Role
We are looking for an Infrastructure & Cloud Support Associate to join our 24x7 IT operations team and provide overnight monitoring, first-level technical support, and incident response across a hybrid infrastructure environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, VMware, Azure Monitor, and Grafana, along with exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix Cloud, Linux, and enterprise monitoring environments.
You will be responsible for monitoring system health, responding to alerts and incidents, performing initial troubleshooting, following established runbooks, escalating complex issues, and ensuring a smooth handover to the day-shift team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overnight L1 infrastructure and cloud support within a 24x7 operational environment.
- Monitor the health and availability of Azure, AVD, Windows, Linux, Citrix Cloud, VMware, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
- Respond to infrastructure alerts, system notifications, and user incidents.
- Perform initial troubleshooting and follow established runbooks, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Support Azure resources including:
- Virtual Machines
- Networking
- Storage
- Identity and Access
- Monitoring
- Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, patching, system health, and endpoint issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot VMware environments, including VM performance, resource utilization, capacity, and availability.
- Review logs, dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics using Grafana and Azure Monitor.
- Create, update, and maintain accurate incident and service tickets.
- Escalate complex or critical issues to L2/L3 teams, vendors, or appropriate technical groups.
- Maintain clear documentation and provide detailed shift handovers to the day team.
- Perform routine infrastructure health checks and operational validation.
- Identify opportunities to improve monitoring, alerting, documentation, and repetitive administrative processes.
- Support adherence to security, compliance, and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of relevant IT infrastructure, cloud support, or systems administration experience.
- 2–3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration and support experience.
- Experience supporting Azure Virtual Machines, networking, identity/access, storage, and monitoring.
- 2–3 years of Windows Server administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
- 2–3 years of VMware/vSphere/ESXi administration or support experience.
- 1–2 years of experience with Grafana, Azure Monitor, or comparable monitoring/observability platforms.
- Experience with monitoring, alert management, log analysis, incident response, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure operations and production support.
- Ability to work independently during an overnight shift within a 24x7 support model.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- Experience with Citrix Cloud/Citrix environments.
- Basic Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with MFT/FTP environments.
- PowerShell scripting or automation experience.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and automation.
- Experience improving monitoring, alerting, and operational processes.
- Knowledge of ITIL-based incident and service management.
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), ITIL Foundation, or equivalent certification.

Education
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
