Overview
Role description
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled
Infrastructure Monitoring Lead with deep expertise in
ManageEngine to architect, implement, and optimize enterprise level monitoring solutions. Strong working knowledge across
Wintel and Linux server environments. This role involves leading monitoring strategy, enhancing observability, and ensuring proactive detection of performance issues across hybrid infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
ManageEngine Monitoring Leadership
- Lead the design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of ManageEngine OpManager, Applications Manager, and related modules.
- Build and maintain end to end monitoring dashboards, s, and reporting standards.
- Implement threshold tuning, event correlation, capacity forecasting, and noise reduction.
- Integrate ManageEngine tools with ITSM and automation platforms.
Infrastructure Monitoring & Observability
- Establish monitoring strategy for on prem, cloud, and hybrid workloads.
- Develop and enforce monitoring best practices, performance baselines, and SOPs.
- Conduct RCA for critical incidents and provide improvement recommendations.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams (Network, Server, Cloud, Security) to ensure comprehensive observability coverage.
Team & Process Leadership
- Lead and mentor monitoring analysts/engineers; oversee day to day operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for monitoring maturity.
- Manage vendor escalations, tool upgrades, POCs, and performance enhancement projects.
- Ensure compliance with audit, security, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in ManageEngine OpManager, Applications Manager, NetFlow Analyzer, and Log360.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server (Wintel) environments (AD, DNS, IIS, clustering, services monitoring).
- Strong Linux knowledge (process monitoring, log monitoring, system performance tuning).is prefered.
- Proficiency in SNMP, WMI, ICMP and agent based monitoring techniques.
- Understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper V), storage, and network monitoring.
- Experience integrating monitoring tools with automation (PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs).
Professional Skills
- 7-12 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to lead technical teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
