Job Summary
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, automation, and SUSE Linux. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of relevant experience operating hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments, with a focus on automation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Kubernetes - Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized workloads on both on-premises Kubernetes clusters and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Kubernetes Operations - Helm charts, namespaces, RBAC, network policies, Ingress, persistent storage, and cluster upgrades
- Azure DevOps - Build and maintain multi-stage YAML pipelines, self-hosted agents, environments, approval gates, and artifact management
- Automation (Python - PowerShell – AZ Cli – Shell scripting)
- SUSE Linux - Administer SLES 15 SP4+ in production, zypper patching, LVM, systemd, AppArmor, and security hardening
- Container Platforms - Docker/Podman image builds, container registries (ACR), container runtime troubleshooting (containerd, CRI-O)
- Infrastructure as Code - Terraform or Bicep for Azure resource provisioning, state management, and peer-reviewed deployments
- Networking - DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, firewall rules, VNets, Private Endpoints, proxy configuration
- Observability - Prometheus, Grafana, container logging (Fluentd/Fluent Bit), alerting and dashboards
- Documentation, runbooks, incident response, and ITIL/change management processes
Additional Responsibilities
- Willing to work in rotational shifts, primarily 12 to 9 PM IST
- Participate in on-call rotation for infrastructure incidents
- Collaborate with application teams to onboard workloads to Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to infrastructure standards, security hardening baselines, and automation best practices
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or
- Bachelor's Degree Information Systems required
Work Experience
- 1- 3 years of relevant work experience required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with Rancher for Kubernetes management
- Ansible for configuration management
- Kubernetes CSI & CNI drivers
- Certificate management – CSR , renewal etc
- ITSM tools (Jira Service Management)
