Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation frameworks, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, operational workflows, API integrations, and CI/CD governance.
The role requires hands-on experience with automation platforms, scripting, and backend/frontend tooling development to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enable infrastructure scalability across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Design and implement infrastructure automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks across enterprise platforms.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks and orchestration workflows using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
- Build and manage Terraform modules for scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure deployment.
- Develop scripts and automation utilities using PowerShell, Python, Java, and shell scripting.
- Create and maintain API integrations between infrastructure platforms, monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and enterprise applications.
- Develop internal frontend and backend tooling to improve operational visibility and automation efficiency.
- Implement CI/CD governance and automation standards for infrastructure deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Cloud, DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure Operations teams.
- Ensure automation solutions follow security, compliance, and operational best practices.
- Troubleshoot automation failures, optimize existing workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
