Job Title: Infrastructure Architect
Location: Remote (Candidates based in Chennai or Bangalore preferred)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux platforms, Kubernetes, networking, virtualization, storage, security, cloud platforms, and modern infrastructure technologies.
This is a hands-on architecture role where you will work closely with engineering teams to design highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure architectures.
Architect enterprise compute, storage, networking, virtualization, security, and application hosting platforms.
Design High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
Lead Linux platform architecture and deployment.
Design Kubernetes-based container platforms and deployment strategies.
Architect database, middleware, caching, and web/application server infrastructure.
Perform infrastructure capacity planning, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
Implement infrastructure security, hardening, access controls, and governance.
Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across infrastructure projects.
Required Skills:
10+ years of Infrastructure Engineering/System Engineering/Infrastructure Architecture experience.
Strong Linux Administration experience (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS).
Hands-on Kubernetes architecture and administration.
Experience with Docker and container technologies.
Strong understanding of Compute, Storage, Virtualization, Networking, and Security.
Experience with Web Servers, Middleware, Databases, and Caching platforms.
Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, VPN, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
Experience designing HA/DR infrastructure.
Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Cloud-native architecture.
Monitoring and Observability tools.
Relevant Linux, Kubernetes, or Cloud Certifications.
