This role sits at the core of production stability and IT service continuity, ensuring critical systems remain available and performant in alignment with service level agreements. You will be part of a collaborative support environment where incident management, troubleshooting, and operational excellence are key priorities. The position involves working closely with technical and business teams to restore services efficiently during outages and minimize downtime impact. Accountabilities
Role
In this role, you will ensure the stability and continuity of production systems while contributing to efficient service desk operations and incident resolution processes:
- Monitor production environments to ensure systems are operating within defined service level agreements and performance standards.
- Manage and support incident resolution activities, ensuring timely communication and coordination during outages.
- Facilitate service restoration for critical production systems, minimizing business disruption and downtime.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery procedures to safeguard operational continuity.
- Ensure adherence to organizational data retention policies and operational compliance standards.
- Participate in service desk activities, including voice support and issue tracking, to support end users effectively.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in IT support and service desk environments, with strong willingness to learn and grow in infrastructure operations:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of service desk management and IT support processes.
- Exposure to service desk voice support or similar customer-facing technical support roles.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset and ability to work in team environments.
- Ability to manage time effectively, adapt to changing priorities, and operate in a structured support environment.
