Infotainment Tester with PythonAutomation testing Location: Bengalore Exp: 3Yrs Job Responsibilities: Have a good understanding of Infotainment Systems and key domains like CAN, UDS, Vehicle Functions & Diagnostics, Media, connectivity, Audio, and Tuner technologies with preferred knowledge on Android Arch. Strong expertise in testing and validating CAN protocol, including CAN 2.0A/B, CAN FD, and various data link layer aspects. Knowledge in any Python framework like Robot or pychamp is preferred. Derive test cases from HDD/CDD/HSIS documents or Sequence flow diagrams Develop, execute, and maintain system-level test cases and test plans for Infotainment features. Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams for resolution. Conduct regression, integration, and acceptance testing for new software releases. Utilize automotive communication and diagnostic tools (e.g., Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, PCAN) for system validation. Prepare detailed test reports and provide feedback on system quality and readiness. Support root cause analysis of issues and participate in troubleshooting activities. Perform detailed analysis of reported issues, bugs, and defects. Handle bug analysis, bug verification, and tracking, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly. Ensure that KPIs defined by leadership are consistently met, and drive improvements to achieve high-quality results. Basic Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Infotainment Testing with a strong focus Experience in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and smartphone integration (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay). Technical Expertise: Proficient in automotive infotainment testing. Experience with microcontroller (MCU) /Input/Output Controller (IOC) testing. In-depth knowledge of CAN/LIN Communication Protocols and UDS Diagnostics Protocol. Experience with requirement management tools like DOORS or DNG. Hands-on experience with test tools (Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, PCAN, Oscilloscope, etc.). Knowledge of defect management and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM). Good communication and documentation abilities. Experience with scripting languages (Python, CAPL) is a plus. Able to understand and derive data flow test cases from HDD/CDD/HSIS documents or Sequence flow diagrams. Additional Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a self-motivated, result-driven attitude. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Fluent in both written and spoken English.
