About the role
Infosys is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our dynamic team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software solutions through rigorous testing and analysis. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, bug-free applications to our global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and/or automation)
Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
Work closely with the development team to resolve issues
Ensure timely delivery of quality releases
Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to test planning
Maintain test documentation and reports
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
Experience in writing clear and concise test cases
Hands-on experience with automation tools (., Selenium, TestNG, Postman)
Knowledge of any scripting language (Java, Python, etc.)
Familiarity with API testing and database testing (SQL queries)
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Good to Have:
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
ISTQB or relevant QA certifications
Educational Qualification:
//MCA/ in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
