We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented US IT Recruiter with 0–2 years of experience to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing IT professionals for clients across the United States. This role requires strong communication skills, familiarity with US hiring practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, internal databases, and other recruiting tools
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications
- Understand client requirements and job descriptions for IT roles
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified IT candidates
- Negotiate salary/rate and handle offer discussions
- Ensure compliance with US hiring standards and documentation
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (HR, Business, or IT preferred)
- 0–2 years of experience in US IT recruitment (Freshers with training may apply)
- Basic understanding of IT technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Cloud, QA, Data, etc.)
- Familiarity with job portals like Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, or LinkedIn
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in US time zones (night shift)
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with W2, C2C, and 1099 employment types
- Knowledge of US visa types (H1B, GC, USC, OPT, CPT)
- Experience using ATS tools
- Prior experience in staffing or consulting firms
