Role Description The Information Technology Teacher will deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in computer science and information technology, aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and preparing lesson materials, conducting classroom instruction, facilitating hands-on activities in labs, and integrating digital tools to enhance learning. The role involves assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records, and supporting students with varying learning needs. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, participate in school events, and promote responsible and creative use of technology among students. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Birla Open Minds International School in Ambikapur.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Computer Science and Information Technology, with the ability to teach foundational and advanced concepts.
- Demonstrated skills in Teaching and Lesson Planning, including designing structured, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences.
- Background in Education, with knowledge of pedagogy, classroom management, and student assessment practices.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching IT or computer science at school level, preferably in an international or CBSE/ICSE/IB setting.
- Proficiency with educational technology tools, learning management systems, and standard software applications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners.
